On 5-6 October 2022, a delegation of EuroISME paid a two-day visit to the French military academy Saint-Cyr Coëtquidan, in order to strengthen the relationship with this institutional member of EuroISME
We discussed at length the French view on teaching military ethics: the subjects to teach, the structure of the education, leadership skills, the potential for research and, of course, the exigencies of war. In the amphitheater of Saint-Cyr, we gave a presentation in which we explained the goals and activities of EuroISME, which was followed by fascinating discussions with members of the audience.
As a matter of course, we have invited the staff and students of Saint-Cyr to participate in EuroISME's next conference in Athens.
